Christie Leece biked into Chicago one day, saw the skyscrapers rise like really really thin mountaintops and thought, “I could live here.” Now she does. She is an avid collector of hobbies, many of which involve the cold and being out-of-doors.

Christie Leece is an Exhibit Developer at the Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum where she does research and creates content for various museum projects, including The Little Green People Show. She brings to the job four years of experience working at the Smithsonian’s Arctic Studies Center as an archaeologist, cultural festival coordinator, cold-water diver, lithics analyst, and all around friend of the North.
